La UNT sigue apostando al crecimiento de sus diferentes áreas. En esta ocasión, fue el turno de la Secretaría de Posgrado que adquirió una nueva sede en la calle Jujuy 351. El edificio, cuenta con 280 m², dos plantas, oficinas administrativas y sala de reuniones. El principal interés de nuestra casa de alta estudios, con la creación de este espacio, la implementación de subsidios y becas, está orientado al fortalecimiento políticas que propicien el aumento del porcentaje de docentes y profesionales con títulos de posgrado.

El día 14 de octubre, se realizó en el anfiteatro de la Facultad una charla informativa destinada los docentes de la Licenciatura en Ciencias Biológicas y Profesorado en Ciencias Biológicas sobre temas relacionados con los procesos de acreditación de las carreras de grado. La exposición estuvo a cargo de la Ing. Patricia Nazar, bajo el auspicio del Sr. Vicedecano, Dr. Hugo Fernández, y contó con la presencia de numerosos docentes.

El Equipo de investigación de la Dra. María Inés Isla integrado por las Dras Catiana Zampini; Maria Rosa Alberto, Soledad Cuello y los Dres Sebastian Torres y Jorge Sayago y becarios doctorales y posdoctorales, perteneciente a la Facultad de Ciencias Naturales e IML de la Universidad Nacional de Tucumán e INQUINOA-CONICET del CCT-Tucumán fue galardonado con elPremio ARCOR a la Innovación, Edición 2015.

El premio fue entregado por la Agencia Nacional de Promoción Científica y Técnica, dependiente del Ministerio de Ciencia, Tecnología e Innovación Productiva y el grupo ARCOR, con el objetivo de fomentar la cultura de la innovación y el desarrollo tecnológico en el sector de la alimentación.

Según Resolución Nº 1190 del Ministerio de Educación de la Nación de fecha 20 de Mayo de 2015 se ha otorgado el reconocimiento oficial provisorio y la consecuente validez nacional al título de posgrado de MAGISTER EN MUSEOLOGIA, que expide la Universidad Nacional de Tucumán, Facultad de Arte, Facultad de Ciencias Naturales e IML, perteneciente a la carrera de Maestría en Museología.
